28% more donations were collected by the three largest funds in 2024

Over 24 billion UAH was raised by Ukraine’s three largest charitable foundations in 2024, which is 28% more than in 2023. United24 accounted for 73% of all donations. December 2024 was a record month for all three funds in terms of collected donations. Meanwhile, Nova poshta transported 1.9 million humanitarian aid parcels last year. In the first months of 2025, donations to the funds have already nearly matched the total amount collected in 2023.

24.1 billion UAH was raised by Ukraine’s three largest charitable foundations last year, 28% more than in 2023. In total, 93 billion UAH has been raised by Come back alive, the Serhiy Prytula foundation, and United24 over three years of full-scale war (as of February 2025).

United24 led donations last year, raising UAH 17.5 billion. 92% of all contributions collected through the platform were directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Over the three years of full-scale war, United24 has raised a total of UAH 70 billion. Notably, until May 2022, donations were received through a special account at the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). Since then, these funds have been accumulated and allocated to AFU support through United24.

“Come back alive” raised UAH 4.4 billion in 2024, accounting for 18% of total donations last year. In total, the foundation has collected UAH 15 billion since the start of the full-scale war.

The Serhiy Prytula foundation gathered UAH 2.1 billion in 2024. Over the three years of full-scale war, it has raised UAH 8.5 billion.

December was the record-breaking month last year. United24 collected 61% of its annual total during this month, while “Come back alive” raised 27.5% of its yearly amount in December. Notably, in the first months of 2025, donations to the major funds almost equaled the total amount for all of 2023: UAH 15.7 billion versus UAH 18.7 billion.

At the same time, Nova poshta transported 63,920 tons of humanitarian aid in 1.9 million parcels last year. In the first year of the full-scale war, an average of 20,000 parcels (total weight: 1.8 tons) were shipped monthly. By 2024, the monthly average had significantly increased to 160,000 parcels weighing 5.3 tons.

December set another record: Nova poshta transported 216,789 aid parcels weighing 7,203 tons in just one month.

Total humanitarian shipments by Nova poshta over 3 years of full-scale war: 3.1 million parcels, totaling 118.2 tons Since 2014 (start of the war): 3,439,479 humanitarian shipments, totaling 138,428 tons. Nova poshta’s humanitarian operations have been active since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014.

Most frequently sent items to the front lines include: Drone parts, electronics (tablets, radios, charging stations, repeaters, etc.), auto parts and tires. The largest volume of aid has been sent from Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, while most shipments are directed to Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
