Who are the leaders of the hospitality market?

The total income of the restaurants and hotels in the Opendatabot Index for 2024 was 28.22 billion UAH. The top ten includes 6 restaurant chains, 2 ready-meal suppliers, and 2 hotel operators.
The total income of restaurants and hotels in the Opendatabot Index grew by 10% last year — reaching 28.22 billion UAH. However, the year wasn’t good for everyone: although 8 companies increased their income, only 6 of them made a profit. The top ten includes 6 restaurant chains, 2 ready-meal suppliers, and 2 hotels.

McDonald’s became the leader in both revenue and profit. The company’s revenue grew by almost one-third, reaching 16.84 billion UAH, and its profit was 1.59 billion UAH — nearly 25% more than the year before. This is the highest profit among all top 10 businesses.

The second place went to a newcomer in the Index: Contract Prodreserv 5 from Dnipropetrovsk region. The company’s revenue grew 1.5 times to 4.44 billion UAH, and its profit increased 1.6 times over the year to 122.7 million UAH.
Puzata Hata (company Operkom) took third place with the biggest revenue growth — 1.5 times more (1.47 billion UAH). However, the chain ended the year with a loss of 37.4 million UAH.
Three places in the Index were taken by companies working under the KFC brand:
4th place — Tasty Food, owned by Valeriy Kiptik (co-owner of Varus and Eva). The company’s revenue stayed the same at 1.03 billion UAH, but its profit dropped 5.7 times to 29 million UAH.
Next is Global Restaurant Group-Ukraine, founded by Beryllium Investments (USA). Their revenue was 982.9 million UAH — up by 19% for the year. However, their losses grew 2.4 times to 155.8 million UAH.
DTS-Kharkiv took 6th place with 771.9 million UAH in revenue. Even though their revenue grew by 25%, their profit dropped 30 times to 10.5 million UAH.
Seventh and eighth places were taken by hotel operators: Parktour (Bukovel) and International Business Center (Hilton Kyiv). Their revenues grew by 31% and 27% respectively. However, Parktur’s profit dropped 50 times to 40.6 million UAH, and International Business Center had a loss of 169 million UAH.
Atomservice took 9th place. Last year was not very successful for them: their revenue fell almost 7 times, and profit dropped 33 times to 16.3 million UAH.
Domino’s Pizza Ukraine closed the top 10. The chain grew its revenue 1.5 times to 550 million UAH and cut its losses in half — down to 16.6 million UAH.
